We will be hosting
a spay and neuter clinic for the Virginia Beach SPCA. The Neuter Scooter
will be here at 8:00 a.m. Cat spay is $60; Cat neuter is $40; Dog spay is
$75 and up, depending on weight; and Dog neuter is $70 and up, depending on
weight. Proof of current vaccinations required or vaccinations will be
provided on the day of surgery for a small fee. Heartworm testing, heartworm
preventative, flea preventative and microchip implant will be available as
well.

Saturday, March 20, 2010 - Horse & Pet Rescue League Events Until Midnight at Horseman's One Stop! |
8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Rescue League Yard Sale. We will be hosting a 'horse and hound' yard sale. Rent a spot for $25 and bring all the horse or dog items you'd like to sell! All rental fees will be donated to the US Equine Rescue League. Refreshments will be for sale throughout the day to benefit local non-profit groups. Special sales throughout the day at Horse & Hound and Virginia-West Boot & Art Company!
(start time TBD) - MIDNIGHT! Isle of Wight Humane Society Midnight Madness Adopt-a-thon. Join us and the staff of the Isle of Wight Humane Society
dressed in your best flannel pajamas, fuzzy slippers and robes in honor of
this event (of course, your daytime clothes are fine too!). Curlers and mud
masks will be optional!! The purpose of this event is to find as many homes
as possible for homeless animals hoping for adoption. There will be
refreshments, snacks, raffles, and prizes offered throughout the evening.
Whether you are looking for a lap cat, curtain climber, or cuddle buddy; a
pound puppy, frisbee player or couch potato, your new best friend could be
waiting! You are invited to come join the madness and find the only love
money CAN buy.
